C’est ce substrat idéologique qui sert de prétexte pour qu’un ou plusieurs individus réalisent, avec une totale acceptation, des modèles de comportement a priori absolument répréhensibles. Le fait d’analyser cette idéologie permet de comprendre ces mouvements, et en aucun cas de les justifier, ce qui facilite de les combattre plus efficacement. L’INCLUSION DES FEMMES. Cet article cherche à montrer la nécessité de faire participer les femmes de façon pleine, efficace et équitable dans toutes les étapes des processus de paix pour parvenir à une paix stable et durable. L’OFFENSIVE DES ARDENNES, LES TROIS FACTEURS.................................................................. 86 Coïncidant avec le 70e anniversaire de la bataille des Ardennes célébré en 2015, la documentation existante à ce propos a été mise à jour et de nouvelles publications de prestigieux auteurs sont apparues. L’offensive des Ardennes représente l’ultime effort de l’armée allemande, lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, pour tenter de reprendre l’initiative sur le front occidental, car l’énorme puissance de l’armée russe empêchait de le faire sur l’oriental. Les trois facteurs jugés nécessaires au succès de la mission furent : une surprise absolue pour empêcher l’ennemi de renforcer la zone d’opérations, une période de mauvais temps pour retenir au sol ou tout du moins réduire l’efficacité des forces aériennes alliées qui possédaient une indubitable supériorité, et les ravitaillements nécessaires à son développement. Cet article détaille ces trois éléments et leur contribution à l’échec de l’opération. To be able to spread and stand over time, it needs an ideology which, even though it does not justify, at least excuses certain type of behaviors absolutely abhorrent in form and substance, since that ideological substratum is what serves as umbrella so that one or several individuals execute, in a totally normal way, absolutely reprehensible, a priori, patterns of conduct. The fact of analyzing this theory allows understanding –which by no means equals justifying– these movements, which makes easier to combat them effectively. INCLUSION OF THE WOMAN. PEACE AND SECURITY.................................................................. 28 The process of globalization experienced in the last decades, characterized by the integration of all of the world’s economies, the displacement of the workforce and the transfer of technological knowledge, has started to show its darker face: new and dynamic dangers of a varied nature, intensity and range are threatening the international peace, security and stability, triggering crises of devastating effects upon the global sphere. Crises in which famines, violence, insecurity and the violation of human rights are the day-to-day of the citizens, who are forced to leave their homes, provoking massive movements of refugees. The present article tries to show the need for the woman to participate in a broad, effective and equal manner in all stages of the peace processes in order to achieve a stable and lasting peace. ARDENNES COUNTEROFFENSIVE, THE THREE FACTORS.................................................................... 86 Coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, which is commemorated on this year 2015, the existing documentation about the battle has been updated, and renowned authors have published works on the Battle. The Ardennes Counteroffensive was the last effort of the German Army in World War II to try to recover the initiative in the Western front, since it was impossible to do so in the Eastern Front due to the tremendous power of the Russian Army. The three factors esteemed necessary for the success of the mission were: the total surprise, to prevent the enemy from reinforcing the area of operations; a period of bad weather, to keep on the ground –or, at least, reduce their effectiveness– the allied Air Forces, which had an overwhelming superiority; and the necessary supplies to develop the latter. The article expounds on these three factors and their contribution to the failure of the operation.
