Doctrina aborda el análisis de la manera en que es delimitado en la Ley de la Ca-rrera Militar y su enjuiciamiento a la luz de los principios constituciona-les que conforman el marco infranqueable de la regulación por parte del legislador ordinario. Abstract: The Promotions System is one of the most relevant ele-ments that integrate the statute of the professional military man and his regulation is always complicated. For this reason, the present research analyses the way in which it is delimited in the Law of the Military Ca-reer and his prosecution in the light of the constitutional principles that shape the impassable frame of the regulation that the ordinary legislator can afford to do. In addition, the study analyzes the possibilities of mov-ing to the military area the forecasts of the horizontal career, contained in the Law of the Basic Statute of the Civil Servant, as a way that allows to find solutions for the possible deficiencies the vertical career can gen-erate.
