14 CONGRESOS • CURSOS • CONFERENCIAS 2013 40TH ICMM WORLD CONGRESS ON MILITARY MEDICINE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA, JEDDAH 7TH-12TH DECEMBER 2013 The Saudi Arabian Armed Forces Medical Services Directorate is honored to organize and host the 40th World Congress on Military Medicine under the patronage of The Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, HRH Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdutaztz and the aegis of the International Committee of Military Medicine (lCMM). We are pleased to invite you to participate by sharinq your experience, research, papers and posters. All military and non-military medical and paramedical professionals as well as academics are invited to attend and submit abstracts in English, French or Arabic (CME Credited Hours). The core body of the Congress is composed of plenary sessions, posters, four workshops and six scientific round-table discussions. Topics of interest include the following: 1. The role of military medicine in disaster and relief operations. 2. Emergency and rehabilitation health care during combat. 3. Mental disorders associated with wars. 4. Pre-deployment medical preparation for military personnel. A LOAC Course will precede the Congress from the 30th November to the 5th December 2013. Ample opportunity to sample the cultural and social life of Jeddah will be available within the Congress’s cultural program. Jeddah offers more than just good food, pleasant weather and site-seeing.
