Seguridad en el sudeste asiático, ¿China contra todos? Resumen La región del sudeste asiático está inmersa en una evolución en la que China es el hegemón regional. La fortaleza de las FF. AA. de los países involucrados es una medida de su capacidad de influencia en el área. En este terreno, ningún país de la región puede equipararse con China, pero los acuerdos entre ellos y con actores externos (EE.UU.), podrían reducir esta diferencia. El discurso regional del sudeste asiático, con una China cada vez a más distancia de sus vecinos y el papel de EE.UU., en duda, se está escribiendo de nuevo. Ante esta situación, es interesante estudiar las capacidades y posible evolución de las Fuerzas Armadas de la zona. Abstract Southeast Asia region is undergoing an evolution in which China is the regional hegemon. The Armed Forces strength of the countries involved is a measure of its ability to influence in the area. In this field, no regional country can be compared with China, but agreements among themselves and with external actors (USA) could reduce this difference. The regional speech of Southeast Asia, with China more and more away from its neighbors and the U.S. role in doubt, is writing again now. Faced with this situation, it is interesting to study the capabilities and possible evolution of the Armed Forces in the area.
