148 LUCAS MOLINA FRANCO SUMMARY After the end of the Spanish Civil War, the spanish Army, Navy and Air Force in Germany search a role model, considering that this country was one of the supports of the nationalists in the recently ended conflict. Since 1940, contracts took place with german companies and military equipment was bought by various agencies of the spanish Army Department for different units and specialties. And manufacturing patents and other machinery to implement the Spanish defense industry in a period of hardship and autarky followed. This research work describes the most important business conducted between 1940 and 1944, by the Dirección General de Industria y Material and Military Factories of the spanish Ministry of the Army and various leading industries of the Third Reich.
