ABSTRACT
This article is an approach to Automotion history and its evolution in
our Army; since its origin until the beginning of the Spanish Civil War.
The vehicles, inside its logistical and tactical function, they were, and
they are, essential for the efectiveness in the Military Units.
The function of the automobiles has not changed very much since its
beginning, using them, in synthesis, for improving velocity in the displace-ments
and for transporting troops and basic tools.
But the thing that has really changed is their structure, the fabrication
materials of these automobiles and the way they do that function, tending to
give priority to the occupant´s security and making these vehicles systems
of weapons and their crew, expert soldiers in the management of multiple
systems.
During the history, the tactical execution of some Operations in Big
Wars and Campaigns has not been very clear, but there is one thing that is
true: the Logistical Capacity wins the wars, and the automobile vehicles are
a fundamental part of that Logistics and, for that reason, they affect in the
execution and commission of these.
KEY WORDS: History, automotion, Army, logistic, effectiveness.
