The deployments chosen have undoubtedly contributed to achieve the goals assigned to that Command. Technique and Research “MEMS” SAFETY AND ARMING SYSTEMS In this article, the MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems) are described, specifically their use in the safety and arming mechanisms for the fuzes of artillery projectiles. ARTILLERY UNITS UNDER KING JUAN CARLOS THE FIRST At the end of the year 1975, Artillery units were part of an Army deployed with a clear objective of homeland defence. History ARTILLERY SCHOOLS IN GERMANY This article has been written by the editorial staff of the magazine Unter’m Roten Barett (Under the red beret), which is the official publication of the German Artillery branch, their equivalent to our “Memorial de Artillería”. It describes the history of their different Artillery Schools, ending with the current one in Idar-Oberstein. It is an honour for us to publish this article written by our brothers in arms, enhan-ce that brotherhood and give an insight into the history of their Academy. Values PRACTICAL SUMMARY OF THE SITUATIONAL LEADERSHIP THEORY This article reviews the Situational Leadership theory in a practical way, which is the style that can be applied to the leadership within military units. At the end of it, we present a test to assess the commander’s effectiveness, from the point of view of situational leadership.
