As is customary every spring, the Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies is pleased to present its Strategic Panorama, which examines some of the keys to understanding today’s world from a broad geopolitical viewpoint.
Less than three decades since the fall of the Berlin Wall leading to a new world order,
international analysts are expectantly observing a new geopolitical change. This change involves a pursuit of privileged positions in international relations and even a clash between regional powers which, like tectonic plate movements in an earthquake, seek a new more advantageous balance in the new distribution of power and influence.
