With the invasion of Ukraine, Vladimir Putin broke the fragile post-cold-war security system in Europe, producing in a few weeks a faster transformation of the geopolitical map of Europe than in the previous three decades. To complicate matters further, the pandemic has not yet been overcome and the economy is showing serious structural problems. In this new geopolitical scenario, Washington addresses the crisis of the global hegemonic system, Europe faces enormous challenges, the issue of Taiwan has gained relevance, India reinforces its great power vocation and defends its strategic autonomy, Indonesia, even with many questions, gains prominence and terrorism loses media focus but remains alive.
