As depicted in Table 8, the Latin American average indicates that a majority of people (44.5%) believe that it is not at all likely that there will be a coup in the coming 12 months. Those who believe this to be unlikely make up a third meaning that 77.8% consider it to be unlikely or not at all likely that a coup d’état could take place.
