Desde 1676 intervinieron en Sicilia, con ocasión de la rebelión de Mesina apoyada por Francia, y desde entonces de forma repetida socorrieron a Orán y otros presidios norteafricanos. En este texto se tratan además aspectos logísticos o de intendencia. Abstract The galleys of Spain had their base in Cartagena de Levante from 1668. From 1676 they intervened in Sicily, on the occasion of the rebellion of Messina supported by France, and since then they repeatedly assisted Oran and other North African presidios.
