REVISTA IEEE 5

631 Review of the periodical universalisation of electricity supply (C. Sallé). The questions examined in the current publication reveal that, over the past year we have witnessed a varied series of immense significance in the configuration of the global geostrategic energy map, which surely demands the broadening of perspectives with which the significant changes that have come about must be viewed. Given the dynamics of the geopolitical scene, it is simply impossible to broach all aspects of what is the present reality. However, given its periodical nature, one can expect that subsequent editions will broach these remaining topics of interest, as well as those that emerge in the future within the environment of energy geostrategy. The philosophy that inspired this joint collaboration between the Spanish Institute of Strategic Studies (IEEE) and the Spanish Committee of the World Energy Council (CECME) is none other than that of contemplating the international energy panorama from a multidisciplinary viewpoint and offering the interested public at large a work like this, in which the analysis and experience of the authors goes hand in hand with a solid knowledge of specialised aspects in this field: technology, market, energy sources, social impact, energy as a geopolitical factor and the geostrategic management of this combination of factors. http://revista.ieee.es/index.php/ieee
