Pendant les années quatre-vingt, de nouvelles théories militaires prônaient
un rôle croissant de la manoeuvre aéroterrestre afin de vaincre
l’adversaire sans pour autant disposer d’une supériorité. Alors que la
chute du mur de Berlin avait changé le panorama stratégique, nous relevons
aujourd’hui de nouveaux défis qui obligent à récupérer et à revigorer
les théories fondées sur cette manoeuvre.

In the 1980s, new military theories were put forward calling for greater
emphasis on air-ground manoeuvres in order to defeat an adversary
without having superiority. The fall of the Berlin wall changed the strategic
landscape, but today we face new challenges that make it necessary
to salvage and revive theories based on such manoeuvres.
