Air War College dosier 673
Thanksgiving is if you live it embedded in an American
family. The same happens with Christmas, Halloween,
and others.
AWC 2020 motto is «Reflect, Reimagine, Reinvest»; in
a loop to keep going on our careers in better conditions.
During this year, AWC Commander also commits us to
reinvest in the family as they are always supporting and
we never pay them enough attention. That’s another
great thing here. They do care of our families and they
provide support and social events to the extreme. You
feel taken care of.
This is the experience of a Spaniard chewing gum
and listening to country music in Alabama, a wonderful
experience that makes me feel extraordinarily honored.
Honored for having learned so much from my American
and international colleagues, many of them now
friends. I am honored of being one of the more than
12,000 international students who graduated in the
Air University’s history, the honor of being one of the
groups of Spaniards present in the AWC course since
before the year 1980. I am honored for the Spanish Air
Force chosen me for this. After 32 years of Service I
can only be grateful of this incredible way of life where
I have been able to serve in the most different post,
from the cockpit in a fighter, to the sand of Afghanistan
or the sun of Gabon, and now to better face my last
decade on the military, the AWC.

eventos sociales.
